I believe that the City and County could benefit by having different Food Vendors that have been vetted by Clarksville Parks and Recreation to setup during high traffic days. For example; there are multiple City Parks along the Kayak Waterway that could be wonderful locations for different food vendors to set up and provide food for the individuals that use the parks.
The Parks and Recreation could issue decals to Food Vendors and require them to use a city specific payment option similar to Riverfest. The food vendor would be responsible for ensuring their area is clean and litter free.
The City could also use a Food Vendor Concept that is similar to Davidson County / Nashville to ensure that validated Food Vendors can setup at specific locations and this could also be done by issuing City/County Permit/Decal.
