[ARCHIVED] Clarksville Parks & Recreation offers homesteading classes

Seed Bomb

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. –  Clarksville Parks & Recreation is excited to offer the following homesteading classes in the coming weeks:

  • How to Make a Seed Bomb ‐- 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 13 at Billy Dunlop Park:  Clarksville City Forester Kathrine Killebrew will teach participants how to make seed bombs and use them to grow flowers. Seed bombs will be made from clay, manure and wildflower seeds. All materials will be provided. The fee is $10 per person.
  • Gardening in Small Spaces ‐- 10 a.m. to noon., Saturday, April 27 at Crow Recreation Center:  UT-TSU Montgomery County Extension agent Karla Keen will discuss how to garden with limited room to grow. The fee is $3 per person.
