Clarksville Gas & Water has planned water service line work on Monday, August 3, at 7:30 a.m. and will close a section of College Street from North First Street to North Second Street until approximately 10:30 a.m.
Water service line work will also take place on Main Street closing the street at 10:30 a.m. from North First Street to North Second Street until approximately 1 p.m.
College Street and Main Street traffic will be detoured to North First Street and North Second Street during the work; however, motorists may wish to choose an alternate route to avoid traffic congestion at the work sites.
