CLARKSVILLE, Tennessee. – Movies in the Park, the City of Clarksville’s free, outdoor movie series, will continue its 14th season on Saturday, Sept. 21 with the showing of “Mary Poppins Returns” at Liberty Park, 1190 Cumberland Drive.
Pre-show activities, coordinated by the Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department, will begin at 5 p.m. and include a performance by Stars Dance Studio, chalk art with Art Link, and kite making and penguin bowling provided by Relay for Life. Learn how to freeze homemade ice cream with APSU Stem using liquid nitrogen and grab some before the movie. They use spoonfuls of sugar!
The movie will begin promptly at 6:45 p.m.
Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, food and drinks. Pets and alcohol are not permitted. Chick-Fil-A of Madison Street and Kona Ice Food Truck will be available for food and drink purchases.
