Clarksville Tree Board named best in the state for 2023

CLARKSVILLE, TN - The TN Urban Forestry Council, whose mission is to inspire and empower people to develop, grow and sustain vibrant, healthy and productive urban community forests, has selected the Clarksville Tree Board as the top tree board in the state for 2023.

The TN Urban Forestry Council's Awards of Excellence recognize local boards and committees that have made outstanding accomplishments in completing urban forestry projects, provided exemplary leadership and made significant progress in meeting the goals of their local urban forestry program.

Members of the Tree Board (pictured above) were recognized for their efforts by the Clarksville City Council at their November Regular Session.

Arbor Day Ceremony

The Clarksville Tree Board will be at Beech Street Park tomorrow, November 14. for their for their annual Arbor Day Celebration. They will be commemorating one of Clarksville's newest parks with a special tree planting ceremony at 11 a.m.

Additional parking will be available at  Byrnes Darden Elementary School, 609 E. Street
