The mission of Boricuas en Tennessee is to promote the culture, traditions, customs, music and gastronomy of Puerto Rico, in the state of Tennessee. The organization also assists Puerto Ricans who choose to live in Tennessee with different needs such as finding a job, attending schools, buying houses, and gaining financial aid. In June 2023 the group will celebrate its first anniversary. There are about 18,000 Puerto Ricans living in Clarksville-Montgomery County, accounting for roughly 10% of the citywide population.
