CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A collection of Civil War artifacts will be on display at Fort Defiance Interpretive Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 15.
Local collectors will display their personal artifact collections which are not typically on display to the public.
“John Walsh, from Fort Donelson Relics, will be on hand with a variety of original Civil War artifacts for display that includes muskets, swords, photographs, and many other local items,” said William Parker, Historical Interpreter at Fort Defiance.
Patrons can bring their own historical items to the Fort and learn more about those treasures from the experts. Items on display will not be for sale.
This event is free and open to the public.
