CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Downtown Market, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, will open Saturday, May 25 with more than 80 vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, local honey, milk, home décor and crafts, seasonal flowers and live entertainment. 

The Clarksville Downtown Market will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays through Oct. 12 on Public Square in downtown Clarksville. Enjoy live music, meet Market mascot “Corny the Cob,” and experience special events on select market days.

Opening day will feature music by Hank Baker, free activities for artists of all ages provided by Art Link, and a promotion by presenting sponsor Seasons Market. Free market totes with the new Clarksville Downtown Market logo will be available to the first 500 visitors. Merchandise such as hats and T-shirts featuring the new logo will be available for purchase.

“I’m excited to be a part of the Clarksville Downtown Market as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of connecting local producers and small businesses with the community,” said Channel Lemon, Market Manager. “Year after year, the Market continues to grow, attracting more vendors and shoppers. It is more than just a farmer’s market, it has become a community gathering place.”

Special events for visitors of all ages are planned throughout the market season. They include:

  • Farm to Market Dinner tickets available for purchase at the Market only -- June 1.
  • Green Day -- June 8.
  • Pop-up Markets at McGregor Park -- June 13, July 11, Aug. 8, Sept. 12.
  • Corn Shucking Contests -- June 15 and 29, July 13 and 27.
  • Veggie Day -- June 22.
  • Pop-up Market at Heritage Park -- June 27, July 25, Aug. 22, Sept. 26.
  • Summer Grilling -- July 6.
  • Food Truck Takeover -- July 20.
  • Health & Fitness Day -- Aug. 3.
  • Farm to Market Dinner presented by Altra Federal Credit Union -- Aug. 10.
  • National Honeybee Day -- Aug. 17.
  • Market Scavenger Hunt -- Aug. 24.
  • College Football Saturday -- Aug. 31.
  • Fun with Fido -- Oct. 5.
  • Closing Day -- Oct. 12.
