This week’s #WorkingWednesday features Davis Stack, Wastewater Public Utilities Supervisor, at Clarksville Gas & Water!

Davis began his career with Gas & Water in 2008 in the wastewater division as a construction worker. With time and experience he advanced to sewer lift station maintenance and on to his current role as the Wastewater Pretreatment Coordinator. With over thirteen years of service and experience in wastewater, Davis does an excellent job of managing the department’s odor control, combined sewer overflow and the fats, oils and grease (FOG) programs.

Davis has also achieved state certifications in Wastewater Collections Grades I & II, Pretreatment and Water Distribution Grades I & II and recently met the requirements to sit for the State of Tennessee Water & Wastewater Operators Certification Board certificate exam in early November.

Davis is involved in most every aspect of wastewater and has demonstrated his commitment to learn and excel in his field. We are proud to have him on our team!

Away from work Davis enjoys spending family time with his wife, Danielle, and their children. He is also involved in many local charitable organizations including the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Clarksville.

Thank you, Davis, for being an exemplary employee, workplace leader and community leader! We appreciate you as part of our City family!
