[ARCHIVED] Halloween in Clarksville

Halloween Notice Poster

Leading into the Halloween weekend, the City of Clarksville would like to remind the public to stay safe while trick-or-treating in neighborhoods and at events throughout the City with the following tips:

  • Look both ways before crossing the street or an intersection.
  • Utilize pedestrian signals to cross busy roads and intersections when possible.
  • When possible, trick-or-treat in groups.
  • Wear reflective material or lighting when trick-or-treating to be seen by motorists.
  • Be sure to check candy for punctures, tears, or signs of being tampered with.

Although typically observed on Oct. 31, some may opt to observe Halloween throughout the weekend due to the 31st falling on a Sunday. The City does not set a specific date for celebrating Halloween, nor are there any restrictions or permit requirements for trick-or-treating or any other events associated with Halloween.

Although restrictions are not in place specific to Halloween, the City asks the public to be mindful of their neighbors during quiet hours from midnight to 6 a.m. Have fun, be safe, and happy haunting!
