This week is National Security Guard Appreciation Week, and to celebrate, we will be highlighting the faces of our Security & Loss Prevention team that oversee City Hall, Clarksville Transit System, Clarksville Gas & Water, City Court, Clarksville Parks & Recreation, and the over 350 municipal properties throughout the community.
Today we highlight two Security & Loss Prevention members, Timothy Wilm (left) and Guy Bowen (right).
Timothy Wilm as over a decade of security and corrections experience to his role prior to joining the City this year. He is currently assigned to City Hall and conducts access control for City Hall, City Council meetings, and City Court. He also conducts interior and exterior patrols of City Hall along with employee parking lot checks and fire/safety checks.
Originally from Western New York, just south of the city of Buffalo, Guy Bowen is a Native-American descendant of the Seneca Nation and moved to Clarksville in 2010 because his wife wanted to be closer to her parent’s who are military. He has worked in security since 2011 and started working for the City of Clarksville as a contractor in 2013 at Clarksville Gas & Water. He became a full-time City employee in 2016 and has since become a familiar face at Gas & Water. He’s a comic book enthusiast, a sports memorabilia collector of mainly baseball collectibles, and a proud volunteer for Little League Internations as a baseball/softball regional umpire.
